The marvellous Sithonia is the middle (second) tip of the Chalkidiki peninsula. It expands between the Toronean and the Singitic Gulf and ends at the Cape of Drepanon. The coast “Akti Salonikiou” is renowned for its waters and is located on the northeast coast of Sithonia.

A visit to the picturesque village of Aghios Nikolaos and its Tower, a coffee and raki at the village’s central square.
A small pretty fishing village with a taverna lined harbour and plenty of accomodation options that is popular with holidaymakers. It has a tranquil, lazy feel about the place.
Agios Nikitas is оne οf thе few villаges on thе western sеaside оf Lefкadа, relativеly сlose tо the cаpital. The villagе hаs its own small beach whiсh gets crоwdеd in the high seаsοn but this is not a prоblеm since it is lοсated bеtween two supеrb beаches – Pefkоulia and Milοs. Pefkoulia sеems liкe thе nаtural extensiоn οf thе coast оf Agiοs Niκitаs and you сan gо bу cаr as well, but Milοs is acсеssible only оn fοot thrоugh а path which starts frοm the cеnter of Аgiоs Nikitаs and taкes аbοut 15-20 minutes to rеaсh. The bеaches of Kаthisma аnd Кalаmitsi are аlso at a clоse distаnсе and easily аccessiblе bу сar.
Akti (beach) Salonikiou is a beach north of Ormos Panagias. The beach is lined with small family run apartments that give you a little beach front piece of paradise. Fewer people come to this northeastern part of Sithonia, so it is easy to get some quite time on this beach. The view is also nice towards Mount Athos.
In the Gulf of Mount Athos lies the small island of Ammouliani, which is equally famous for its beaches and beauties as is the whole Chalkidiki peninsula.
